“When my husband and I decided to come to Columbia twenty four years ago, one of the primary draws was the quality of the public school system. Five children for a cumulative total of sixty-three school years later, we constantly have not been disappointed. Volunteering has been a pleasure for me, especially considering the quality of the teachers and administrators I have worked with on various projects. The bottom line is helping our children at school ultimately benefits all of us who live in Columbia.”
